New Twisted Flare Port Produces Clear and Tight BassThe all-new Twisted Flare Port takes advantage of extensive subwoofer development experience. Compared to a conventional port, the Twisted Flare Port reduces air turbulence noise, contributing to clear and accurate low frequency reproduction. The flared and gently twisted shape evenly diffuses the air flow through the port. PWM Digital Drive High Efficiency Amplifier and Dual Feedback CircuitThe built-in power amplifier delivers stable power output of 250 W with high efficiency while minimizing power consumption and heat production. It does not require an output filter coil, resulting in extremely low noise and distortion. High speed transient response is also excellent. The dual feedback circuit reduces distortion by applying feedback twice, resulting in higher sound clarity. Advanced YST II for Awesome Deep BassDeveloped by Yamaha, the Advanced YST II (Yamaha Active Servo Technology II) combines negative-impedance and constant-current principles to drive the speaker cone with even tighter control than the previous version. Using advanced negative impedance converter (ANIC) circuits, this system dynamically optimizes effective speaker impedance to maintain excellent linearity. This means more stable and accurate low range response, not to mention higher sound quality. 10” Cone Woofer Unit with Square WireA 10” large woofer unit is used in a front-firing configuration. The voice coil of the driver unit employs square wire with a wide surface area that can be wound more densely to obtain higher magnetic flux density. Front Control Panel for Easy OperationThe power and volume buttons, which are used most often, are laid out on the front surface of the unit for ease of access. It is inclined at an angle of 45°, making it easy to use even when placed on the floor. An LED indicator is above the power button, so even in a dimly lit room it's easy to tell if it's on or off. System Control and Auto StandbyThe system control terminal can be linked to the amplifier power to automatically turn the power on and off. There is also an auto standby function, if no signal is input from the amplifier for a fixed period, it automatically switches to the standby state and when a signal from the amplifier is detected, power turns on automatically. 야마하(Yamaha)는 액티브 서브우퍼 신제품 ‘NS-SW300’을 발매했다.
신제품은 서브우퍼의 크기보다 더 많은 중저음 재생을 지원하는 A-YST(Advanced Yamaha Active Servo Technology) II 기술을 탑재한 베이스 리플렉스 액티브 서브우퍼. 두 제품의 공통된 특징으로 독특한 형태의 트위스트 플레어 포트를 탑재했다.
트위스트 플레어 포트는 포트 입구에서 출구 쪽으로 퍼지는 방법을 변화시켜, 트위스트를 추가하여 공기의 흐름을 원활하게하고 포트의 끝에서 공기의 소용돌이가 발생하지 않도록하여 노이즈를 억제하고 선명한 저역을 재생할 수 있다.
두 기종 모두, 고성능 및 저전력을 특징으로 하는 더블 피드백 회로를 사용하였으며 고효율 파워앰프를 탑재했다. 내장 앰프의 출력은
NS-SW300 250W.
NS-SW300은 25cm 우퍼 유닛을 탑재했으며, 새롭게 각 단면에 보이스 코일 와이어를 사용했다. 보이스 코일의 실질적인 표면적과 단면적을 늘려 유닛의 구동력과 제동력을 좌우하는 자기회로의 자속 밀도를 향상시켜 깊이 있는 저음 재생이 가능하다.
음성 입력은 RCA와 스피커 터미널을 제공한다. 자사의 AV 앰프와 전원연동이 가능하다. 제공되는 5미터 케이블을 통해 야마하 AV 앰프(시스템 컨트롤 지원기종)와 연결하면 AV 앰프의 전원 On/Off 상황에 따라 자동으로 전원을 켜고 꺼준다. 또한 AV 앰프의 대기모드와도 연동된다.
새로운 디자인과 전원 스위치, 볼륨 조절 등을 전면 상단패널에 배치했다. 또한 스피커와 소리의 성향을 맞출 수 있는 하이 컷 주파수 조절노브는 후면에 제공한다.
